Sometimes I do a little more than just that. I am a ritual observer and collector of things, from posters to books to old license plates. And I’m just as happy making those things, too.

Everything around us is designed. No, really! But who gets to design for whom, and why them? How do we relate to our designed life? How does our designed life affect how we relate to each other (for better or worse), and how do we change the design of our surroundings in response?

I am always in the pursuit of engaging with the design process—through my professional work here as well as in my approach to solving everyday problems—in a way that operates in the spirit of this exciting discourse.
